Tamsin is an Executive Coach, Trainer and Business Consultant with vision, vibrant energy, a sense of humour and a reputation for high standards. She has a non-directive approach to coaching and an inherent passion for motivating, developing and envisioning people and organisations. A natural presenter and communicator, she is focused on results and has an empathetic, supportive style. Her working practice challenges and enlightens and, in doing so, builds a robust platform for individuals to feel empowered and fulfilled.
Combining a wealth of valued business acumen with a ‘down to earth’ practical approach, Tamsin is a strategic thinker used to working alongside senior executives. Prior to Skynote Consulting she was a Board Director and Partner with leading London agency Lansons. A key member of the senior leadership team she was involved in running the Lansons business whilst also advising a range of blue chip organisations on their communications programmes. She has a renowned history for her creativity and for designing and directing hard hitting campaigns aimed at influencing consumer behaviour. She won many awards for her work.
Tamsin is particularly interested in working with individuals to help them manage conflict and difficult / courageous conversations with greater understanding and skill. She also embraces change and the part it plays in the ongoing development of individuals and organisations.
She is keen to encourage resilience, mental toughness, sustainability and ethics in all approaches.
She has a lifelong interest in schools and the development of the next generation. She was the architect of the Personal Finance Education Group (PFEG), bringing together members of the teaching community and industry representatives to co-ordinate efforts (know-how and funding) in teaching young people about money management. Subsequent lobbying secured a place for personal finance education in the national curriculum in schools in England. As a Headmaster’s daughter, Tamsin grew up absorbed in the world of schools, living ‘on site’ and aware of its many pressures and delights.
She lives in Warwickshire with her husband and three children and enjoys renovating dilapidated houses, playing the piano, walking her dogs and a competitive game of tennis!
